With its 40 slices and reconstruction speed of up to 20 images per second, the 40-channel CT opens the door for your physician to see studies of your body that were difficult, if not impossible, to acquire in the past. These advances allow Physicians Imaging to perform a complete neck to pelvis study in one breath-hold (less than 20 seconds), thereby virtually eliminating motion artifacts and patient discomfort.

Paired with the CT, Physicians Imaging uses state-of-the-art
3-D hardware and software to recreate together hundreds of “sliced” images into a 3-D image of the body. Using this software, our radiologists can rotate the images and examine a body part or parts in all 3 dimensions, providing a more in depth view of any abnormalities. See examples.
